The wind screaming through the dancing trees
Dark clouds gathering in an evil moment
A wild cry lost in the moonless night
I sat there, the storm raging in my head.
Darkness enveloped my dreams, tearing it apart
A single tear dropped, dripping from the first wound
Of a heart torn by a sense of loss, a sense of loneliness
My maiden, gone now, tired of my smiles
Tired of my song.
My laughter holds no more joy
Like the striking lighting tearing the sky
A howl rose like the clapping thunder
I realized it was my voice, now weeping.
But who would care for these rivers of tears
Would it matter that my eyes have lost its shine
Like a beast
I lay there, hungry for love.
